Another pitcher that is under the White Sox’s radar is Yankees’ prospect Dellin Betances according to Josh Norris, Trentonia’s Trenton Thunder’s beat writer.
– The Detroit Tigers are still looking for infielder, and according to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports, they are interested in Stephen Drew and Ryan Roberts of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Rosenthal says that he doesn’t know how “advanced the talks are,” but says that both teams have been discussing trade scenarios that involves one or both players.
– The Oakland Athletics are looking to improve at shortstop according to sources close to Rosenthal. He adds that their targets are Yunel Escobar and Drew, although they haven’t begun serious trade discussions with either the Diamondbacks or the Blue Jays.
