The Milwaukee Brewers announced that they have released veteran left handed pitcher Randy Wolf. He was in the final year of the three-year deal he signed with the Brewers. The A’s could be interested in Wolf now that Bartolo Colon has been suspended for 50 games.
The 36-year old hurler went 3-10 with a 5.69 ERA, 1.3 HR/9, 2.8 BB/9 and 6.1 SO/9 in 142.1 innings for the Brewers this season.
