Sources close to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report that Carlos Beltran and the St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to a two-year deal worth $26mm. Tim Brown of Yahoo adds that the deal includes a no-trade clause which was something Beltran wanted before the deal was agreed upon.

According to sources close to Scott Miller of CBSSports.com, at least five clubs are interested in free agent outfielder Carlos Beltran. Among the teams interested are the Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals and the Colorado Rockies. Beltran is looking for a multi-year deal.

Veteran outfielder Carlos Beltran has switched agents according to a baseball source close to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com. Beltran, who was previously represented by Scott Boras, will now be represented by Dan Lozano.
The source adds that Beltran interviewed several other agencies this summer before going with Lozano, who also represents Albert Pujols and Jimmy Rollins.
