According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, the Toronto Blue Jays have signed Edwin Encarnacion to a one-year contract. The deal is for $2.5 million with a club option for 2012. The club option will be worth $3.5 million and a $500,000 buyout, according to Richard Griffin of the Toronto Star.
