The Kansas City Royals have agreed to one-year deals with seven players according to the Associated Press (via ESPNDeportes.com).
The players are Chris Getz, Gregor Blanco, Jeremy Jeffress, Greg Holland, Sean O’Sullivan and Mitch Maier.

The deal sending outfielder Mark Teahen from the Kansas City Royals to the Chicago White Sox for third baseman Chris Getz and second baseman Josh Fields was completed on Friday.
The addition of Teahen gave the White Sox the flexibility to not excercise 2005 World Series MVP Jermaine Dye’s $12 million team option for 2010.

The Chicago White Sox have declined the $12 million 2010 team option for outfielder and 2005 World Series MVP Jermaine Dye. Rather than pay the option, they bought out his contract for $950,000 and thus making Dye a free agent.
