The St. Louis Cardinals have unconditionally released left-handed pitcher Ron Mahay, according to the Memphis Redbirds account on Twitter.
The 40-year-old Mahay last pitched in the Majors in 2010. He has a career 27-12 record with a 3.83 ERA in 568 innings pitched.

According to a team announcement, the St. Louis Cardinals have signed right-handed pitcher Blaine Boyer and left-handed pitcher Ron Mahay.
Boyer, 29, pitched in five games with the New York Mets this season. He went 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA.

According to Matt Eddy of Baseball America Ron Mahay’s stay in the Arizona has quickly come-and-gone as he has been released. The Diamondbacks had signed Mahay to a minor league deal back in April. While pitching for Triple-A Reno, he posted a 9.58 era in 10 1/3 innings.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will sign left-handed free agent pitcher Ron Mahay, Jayson Stark of ESPN.com reports.
The 39-year-old reliever was arguably the best left-handed free agent available now on the market.
