The Baltimore Orioles have claimed right handed pitcher Darren O’Day off waivers from the Texas Rangers according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com.
O’Day was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 16.2 innings with the Rangers in 2011.

The Texas Rangers have avoided arbitration with right handed pitcher Darren O’Day by agreeing to a one-year, $1.251 million deal according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
O’Day was 6-2 with a 2.03 ERA in 62 innings throughout 72 games with the Rangers in 2010.
