According to the team’s official Twitter account, the St. Louis Cardinals have agreed on Minor League deals with right handed pitchers Miguel Batista and Ian Snell. Both deals will include a invitation to the Major League Spring Training.

According to MSNBC, right-handed pitcher Ian Snell has been designated for assignment by the Seattle Mariners.
The report says the 28-year-old may draw little interest on waivers. If he clears waivers, he will head to the Mariners’ Triple-A affilite in Tacoma. Snell is 0-5 with a 6.41 ERA in 12 games this season.
